I gotta say, whether you're a Christian or not, this just seems like a no-brainer. Is there any other surgery out there that can be performed on a minor without parental consent. This just makes sense. However, this thing has already failed twice in California. So make sure you get out and vote on November 4 and vote YES on Prop 4 and Prop 8.

Yes on Prop 4
With all the hubbub about Prop 8 (defining marriage as a union between 1 man and 1 woman), I totally missed another important issue on the ballot. Please vote YES on Prop 4. If Prop 4 passes, it will require a 72 hour waiting period before a minor can get an abortion. During the waiting period an adult in the minor's immediate family will be contacted to notify them of the intended procedure.

Glad to see they have Prop 4 out there...it's amazing that when it comes to abortion, liberal pro-choice people think kids can make the decisions on their own without parental guidance or knowledge. But, put the same kid in the same room with a military recruiter, and suddenly the kid, in their liberal mind, is just a kid who can't possibly understand the implications of what a recruiter is posing to them.
