Wii Tech
I am a big fan of the Wii. It's loads of fun. I don't own one yet, but enjoy it whenever I get the opportunity to play. Check out this TED talk where a researcher, Johnny Lee, found some incredible uses with the Wii remote - http://www.ted.com/talks/view/id/245. It is really amazing. I'd like to try some of these applications sometime.

This guy is crazy smart. It sounds like this is about to take gaming to a whole new level. 1st player shooters will be more like actually killing people than ever before. :)
I had not seen this particular video, but I had seen the original videos on YouTube he refers to. It is ridiculously cool what he's come up with. He also came up with a homemade "steadycam" that works surprisingly well (nothing to do with the Wii though.)
