John 1-5

I'm excited. We're definitely coming down the home-stretch on this New Testament reading plan for Lent. I have really been changed in a lot of good ways through this. Can't wait to blog about it after Easter!

This passage from John's gospel is, in my opinion, the greatest opening line to any document in the history of the world!

John 1:1-5 (ESV)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
